Estrella Educational Foundation, on behalf of Maricopa Institute of Technology (MIT), is providing public notice of its intent to apply for funding through the Arizona Department of Education’s FY2027 Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant, cohort two.
MIT intends to request $120,000 in year one funding to expand academic and enrichment opportunities for students.
The proposed program will provide academic intervention in mathematics and English language arts, STEM enrichment, robotics, coding, college and career readiness, youth development, and family engagement activities outside the regular school day.
The application deadline is October 13, 2026. Following submission, the grant application will be available for public review upon request through the school administration. Please see below for more information
